I don’t know what sound system I need — can you advise?
Yes. You do not need to specify equipment. We recommend an appropriate sound system based on the venue or location, audience size and event format. Where relevant, this includes microphones and backline for live bands or DJ equipment for DJ-led events. Following a brief conversation, we provide a quotation covering all required audio equipment and technical delivery.
Do you provide technicians with PA hire?
Yes. PA hire is supplied with experienced technicians to install, operate and derig the system, unless otherwise agreed.
What is included with PA hire?
PA hire includes system design, supply, installation, on-site operation and derig. Additional equipment such as microphones, backline or DJ equipment can be included where required.
Can systems be configured for multiple rooms or zones?
Yes. Systems can be designed for multi-room and multi-zone use, with separate or shared audio sources depending on the event requirements.
Can you provide PA systems for outdoor events?
Yes. Systems can be specified for outdoor use, including appropriate weather protection, power distribution and site considerations where required
Do you offer dry hire only?
Dry hire may be available in limited cases, depending on the equipment and the experience of the client. Most projects are delivered as a staffed service.
How far in advance should PA hire be booked?
Booking as early as possible is recommended, particularly during peak periods. Short-notice bookings may be possible, subject to availability.
Do you cover events outside London?
Yes. Sova Audio is London-based and provides sound system hire across the UK and internationally.
Delivery and set-up
We’ll deliver and set-up your sound system at a time that works with your schedule. This means all you’ll need to do is switch on the power and enjoy your event. Post-event, we’ll return to collect the system at a time that suits.
